About Us

Julie Derry is a Certified Senior Advisor™ and the founder of Aging123, an organization dedicated to offering personalized, no-cost support to older adults and their families in finding the best options for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and In-Home Care. Julie and her team work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and guide them to the most fitting solutions.

With a strong leadership presence in the industry, Julie is a founding member and past President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Placement and Referral Alliance. She also serves as a Board Member and former Chair of San Diego Oasis Lifelong Learning, a Board Member at Glenner Alzheimer's Family Centers, Chair of the Poway Chamber Senior Services Group, a member of the KenTal Business Association and a member of the San Diego County Council on Aging.

Before founding Aging123, Julie built a successful career as a Senior Marketing Executive and E-Commerce pioneer with over 25 years of experience at top retailers such as Harry & David, REI, Guitar Center, and See's Candies, where she led digital experiences.

In 2015, Julie transitioned from the corporate world and spent a year exploring ways to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while staying deeply involved in her community. This journey led her to become a Certified Senior Advisor™ (CSA) and launch a senior placement agency. Through her work, Julie helps aging adults and their families navigate challenging transitions, offering them the peace of mind that comes from finding the right care options.
