Scenthound Scripps Ranch

Cara has called San Diego home for more than 15 years. She came here for college, graduated from UC San Diego, and never left. She’s always loved dogs, and she turned that into a business when she and her husband, Percy opened their first Scenthound location in Carmel Valley and now, Scripps Ranch.

Scenthound is a membership-based dog care brand built around routine wellness: regular baths, nail trims, ear cleaning and teeth care that keep dogs healthy between vet visits. Cara believes every dog deserves care that’s simple, affordable and consistent, and she’s proud to serve the pet owners of Poway and the surrounding communities.
