About Us

Signe Dauskane-Platace is the creator of the Business Blind Spot Detective™ Method and a Business Mentor & Performance Coach who helps business owners and high-performing professionals identify and resolve the hidden patterns that keep them from reaching their next level.

Her approach combines business mentoring, performance coaching and transformational work to uncover blind spots affecting business growth, leadership, decision-making, confidence, visibility and sales.

With degrees in medicine and law, Signe has built four businesses in Latvia and the U.S., including founding two leading private medical clinics in Latvia — both still operating today. With more than 15 years of mentoring and coaching experience, she brings an unusually multidimensional perspective to business challenges.

She helps clients identify not only what to do next, but what has been preventing them from doing what they already know they need to do — whether that means launching a long-delayed project, restructuring an offer, raising prices, becoming more visible or making a difficult business decision.

Many business owners think, “When I make more money, then I’ll hire a mentor.” Signe challenges that thinking: the right support can be part of what helps you create that next level of growth.

A mentor isn’t simply an expense. The right mentor is an investment in what becomes possible next.

Most business owners don’t have a strategy problem. They have a blind spot problem.

Opening celebration of Premium Medical, the clinic I founded in Riga, Latvia — January 29, 2008. It continues to operate today, with approximately 80 physicians.
Opening of Capital Clinic Riga — January 14, 2014, Riga, Latvia. I co-founded the clinic in partnership with Veselibas Centrs 4, Latvia’s largest private medical group. Pictured with my business partner and the owner of Veselibas Centrs 4.
I earned my MD and Law degrees through years of study and exams. I also trained and qualified in coaching and healing modalities. But you don’t earn a degree in mentoring. You become a mentor — through professional experience, life experience, successes, failures, and everything you learn along the way.
Ballroom dancing is where my soul sings. I danced for many years as a child, and in 2026, I found my way back to my happy place.
I’ve called Southern California home since 2015 — from Los Angeles to Lake Elsinore. In March 2026, I found my next happy place: San Diego. This is where I’m now putting down roots, actively networking, building meaningful connections, and making new friends.
Women United for Support event. I deeply believe in the power of women supporting women — because sometimes another woman can feel like home: a place where you are seen, understood, encouraged, and reminded of your own strength.
I’ve been a public speaker throughout my professional life. After founding the Patient Rights Office of Latvia in 2001, I spent years in the public spotlight — on television and radio, and in newspapers and magazines. From 2002 to 2015, I educated medical professionals across Latvia in medical law and patient rights. Today, I’m happy to bring that experience forward — sharing my knowledge, perspective, and inspiration with those who are ready to grow themselves and their businesses.

As founder of Premium Medical, Signe built a new model of private healthcare centered on exceptional patient experience, privacy, informed consent and advanced preventive medicine.
